Estes Protostar Flying Model Rocket Kit

The Hex-3 flying rocket kit provides hours of outdoor fun in the sun with friends and family. This model allows you to build and play or add to an existing collection. The Hex-3 features colorful printed cardstock, an engine tube, a split green centering ring, an engine block, a mylar engine hook retainer, a launch lug, and a metal engine hook.

Assembly of the Hex-3 requires cutting and gluing. The Hex-3 measures almost 12 inches in diameter and takes approximately 2 hours to cut out, fold, and glue together. No painting or decal application is required.

When powered by a C6-0 booster engine, the rocket can reach heights of up to 100 feet. Rocketry is recommended for ages 10 and up, with adult supervision required for those under 12.

Unless otherwise specified, all models require assembly. Tools, construction, and finishing supplies are sold separately.

To launch the Hex-3, a launch system, 7260 rocket engines, starters, and recovery wadding are required, all of which are sold separately unless otherwise specified.
