The Designer's Special kit includes over 100 parts to build up to 8 rockets, and comes with a Model Rocket Technical Manual covering the basics of model rocketry. This Intermediate level kit will help a budding rocketeer develop some basic model building and finishing skills.

Specifically, the kit contains: 2 each of BT-5, BT-20, BT-50, BT-55 and BT-60 18" Body Tubes; Assorted Engine Mount Tubes; Assorted Laser cut Centering Rings; Assorted Green Centering Rings; Tube Couplers for all Body Tube sizes; Parachutes and Streamers; Launch Lugs; Engine Hooks; Engine Hook Retainer Rings; Engine Blocks; 1/8' and 1/4" Shock Cords; Shock Cord Mounts; Wood Sheets for making Fins; Fin Templates; Tube Transations; Plastic Nose Cones; Nose Cone Inserts; and Clay for Nose Cone weight. It also includes a Clear Payload Section.

Estes model rocketry is recommended for ages 10 and up, with adult supervision for those under 12. Unless otherwise specified, all models require assembly. Tools, construction and finishing supplies are sold separately.

In order to launch, a launch system, model rocket engines, igniters and recovery wadding are required - sold separately, unless otherwise specified. This allows you to build and fly your own designs with the 100+ useful parts provided.
