Estes 7315 New Shepard Rocket Builder Kit for Intermediate Level Users

The first New Shepard from Estes, Estes 2198 Blue Origin, was ready for either flight or display. With the Estes 7315 New Shepard Builder Kit, you can now experience the engineering and construction of your own flying machine. This historic New Shepard Rocket can be crafted for gorgeous, cloud-busting flights or as a stand-out shelf display model of the real thing. Estes 7315 New Shepard rocket is the only officially licensed builder's kit of the Estes Blue Origin New Shepard 2198.

Compared to the ready-to-fly model Estes 2198, the Estes 7315 New Shepard rocket is lighter and can reach an altitude of 700 ft. on an Estes C6-5 Engine. The kit features laser-cut balsa fins, a blow-molded nose cone with printed details, an injection-molded tail cone, an 18mm screw-on engine retainer, water slide decals, and a Blue Origin-style 15-inch parachute.

The Estes 7315 New Shepard Builder Kit is officially licensed and exclusive to Estes Rockets. The recommended engines for this model are B4-4, B6-4, and C6-5 (engines and accessories are sold separately). On a C6-5 engine, the Estes 7315 New Shepard is projected to reach an altitude of 700 ft. (213 m), and the estimated assembly time is 1 hour.

Estes model rockets are recommended for ages 10 and up, with adult supervision for those under 12. The Estes 7315 New Shepard Builder Kit is a 1/66th scale model of the actual Blue Origin New Shepard launch vehicle. After deploying the capsule, the rocket falls through the atmosphere under a 15-inch parachute.

To launch the Estes 7315 New Shepard, you'll need construction, building, and finishing materials, which are sold separately. Additionally, a launch set, rocket engines with starters and plugs, and recovery waddings are required.
