Estes Mini Mosquito Rocket for Ages 12 and Up

A mini engine-powered version of the 1335 Mega Mosquito, and we truly mean MINI. Standing at just 3.8" tall, this little guy can really soar! Featuring simple and quick construction with out-of-this-world performance, the Mosquito rocket's tumble recovery brings this awesome little craft back to Earth. When powered by the A10-3T mini engine, it can reach heights of 800 feet - more than 200 times its own height! However, buyers should beware, as with its small size and the use of our most powerful mini engine, this rocket might not return. So consider yourself warned.

Estes model rocketry is recommended for ages 10 and up, with adult supervision for those under 12. Unless otherwise specified, all models require assembly, and tools, construction, and finishing supplies are sold separately. To launch the rocket, a launch system, model rocket engines, igniters, and recovery wadding are required, also sold separately, unless otherwise specified.

This Mosquito is a classic in our mini engine-powered line of model rockets. It is an Intermediate level rocket, which will help a budding rocketeer develop some basic model building and finishing skills. The recommended engines for this rocket are the 1/4A3-3T, 1/2A3-2T, 1/2A3-4T, A3-4T, and A10-3T (sold separately). When launched with the A10-3T engine, the Mosquito is projected to reach an altitude of 800 ft (244 m). The estimated assembly time is 1 hour, not including painting and glue drying time.
