Pinewood Car Kit for Wing Car Derby

The Wing Kit Bundle includes all the essential items you need to build a competitive, BSA-compliant, derby car. This Complete Car Kit Solution comprises the following components: a Wing Kit with precision-cut axle slots matching BSA specifications in placement, depth, and width (tungsten weight included); Official BSA Matched Speed Wheels with an outer diameter that has been lathed concentric to the wheel bore; BSA Speed Axles without any crimp marks or flashing; and Max-V-Lube Graphite, the best pine derby graphite on the market.

To complete the car kit, you will need some sandpaper, wood filler, and glue (epoxy or hot glue). Decals are not included in the bundles. For spray painting, we recommend lacquer paints and avoid enamel paints. For brush painting (the easiest method for kids), we suggest using acrylic hobby paints.

The derby car kit includes a premium CNC pinewood car body engineered with a sleek aerodynamic design for winning results. The superior Tungsten weight is precisely placed in the designated weight pockets, ensuring optimal performance.

The wheels are professionally lathed on a state-of-the-art CNC lathe, with the tread surface true to the center of the hub bore. All wheels have matched mold numbers, ensuring the bore diameter and other wheel measurements are identical, maximizing performance.

The Speed Axles are not your standard BSA out-of-the-pine-derby-car-kit axles. They feature an accurate, round shaft to improve performance, with no burrs or crimp marks, eliminating tedious work and creating a faster, more consistent derby car.

Not all pine derby car graphite is created equal. The Maximum Velocity lube dry graphite is a proprietary blend of high-purity natural flake graphite for top-performing pinewood cars.
